Comments about Fingerless Overlord Gloves�:

I received these from a OR representative after looking for previous users on a mil/le forum. I have been a user of the regular short version with full fingers for carbine courses and am very happy with them. I had been looking for a fingerless glove from other manufacturers but have not been satisfied with what was available. After using the fingerless version now during 3 intensive carbine courses as a student, and numerous academy classes as an instructor, I will say that these gloves are about as perfect for my use as it gets. While there is some loss of protection on 3 fingers, I have not found that to be a detriment at all. I still have most of the protection afforded by the gloves for things like removing hot suppressors, heat from sustained carbine fire, nicks and cuts from sharp edges during weapon manipulation, etc. The exposed fingertips allow performance of tasks that would otherwise require removal of the gloves, i.e., weapon maintenance, dealing with small parts, etc. So far they have held up very well. The stitching in the areas that sustain the most punishment has not deteriorated at all, the same as I have noticed on the full finger version. A high quality product! Overall I loves these gloves and look forward to being able to purchase additional pairs when they become generally available.
